“ Absolutely fantastic restaurant! The food and service are both off the charts. Reservations required and recommend booking well in advance. The wine list is impeccable and expansive, and Marc the host is incredibly knowledgeable with recommendations based on food ordered. The escargot and oysters were great on our last visit, as were the peach Melba and rice pudding desserts. Dinner specials rotate and haven't had a bad one yet. ”

“ Traditional french bistro. Boulliabase lunch had a nice broth, salmon, mussels, and vegetables in it. Servers were attentive and managed our large multi-table group well. Parking was free immediately outside around the town square. Good wine list and shop/club immediately next door. Call for reservations. ”
“ I organized a special 4 course dinner for my husband's birthday with our group of 12 friends from out of town. After a brief discussion with Heather (manager) several months before the event, I was able to provide input on our group's food dislikes. The chef then came up with a menu 7 days before the event which we approved. We sat outside on the covered/heated patio. The food was outstanding. Each course was served with european flair, beautifully plated and had perfect servings (not too much). The sommelier offered excellent advice on the wines that would be perfect with each course. He expertly poured wines for our group throughout the evening and was respectful of each guests' "wine limit" with each pour. We had a very memorable meal. My husband was extremely pleased as were our guests. We felt transported to France! Thank you to all the staff, Heather and Chef Laurent for a beautiful meal/evening. This was our first time eating at BL Brasserie and we would highly recommend to others. (For the record, we are real foodies and have high expectations when eating out). The only suggestion I have for management is to offer some simple cocktails as well. Several members of our group are not ardent wine drinkers, but love a simple mixed drink before their dinner. ”

“ Went for lunch. Everything is pretty good. Classic simple French food with fresh materials. I really like the onion soup one of the best but their beet salad is average. Very short lunch menu and not many people when we arrived Friday. Services are attentive. We will be back in the future. ”
“ We were recommended to go here by friends, and would in turn recommend to others. Visiting on Saturday night of a long holiday weekend the restaurant was busy but you would have not known it. Staff provided individual personable service to all guests. The food was delicious and served efficiently. We were seated next to some other guests who may have over indulged wine tasting earlier in the day. The staff politely and efficiently let them know certain behaviors were not acceptable without diminishing the dining experience from those who would remember it the next day. Can not wait to return. ”
“ Our second visit here was as good as the first. We enjoyed our first visit on the patio but it was a little warm for Al fresco dining this time. But the dining room is a great space, full of fun French aperitif and theatre posters and wooden wine crate panels. I totally forgot to photograph our dishes, but we had a great dinner of escargot, mussels, hanger steak with red wine sauce, and frites. ”
